Terms of Sale
These terms cover the purchase and use of software sold through this website.
Please read them before buying.
1. Who you are buying from
This software is made by Mateusz Lipa, trading as MVTTI Audio, a sole trader
based in the United Kingdom.

Payments are not processed by us. Checkout is operated by Polar Software Inc.,
who act as the merchant of record for every order. That means Polar is the seller
on your receipt, Polar collects any VAT or sales tax due in your country, and Polar issues your
invoice. Polar's own terms apply to the payment itself.
2. What you are buying
You are buying a perpetual licence to use the software, not the software itself.
The licence is granted to one person. It does not expire and there is no subscription or recurring
charge.
Each licence permits you to:
- install and use the software on up to two computers that you own or control;
- use it for any purpose, personal or commercial, including music released for sale;
- reinstall it as often as you like.
You may not:
- share, resell, sublicense or publish your licence key;
- distribute the software or a modified version of it;
- attempt to defeat the licensing system.
3. Licence keys and activation
After purchase you receive a licence key by email. The software contacts our licence server to
activate that key and periodically to confirm it is still valid. This check sends only your licence
key and an anonymous identifier derived from your computer's hardware — see the
Privacy Policy.
The software keeps working for 30 days without reaching the server, so a temporary
loss of internet, or our server being unavailable, will not stop you working.
If you run out of activations — for example after replacing a computer — you can free all of them
from inside the software, or email support@mvtti.dev.
4. Delivery
Delivery is by download, immediately after payment. There is no physical product and nothing is
shipped.
5. System requirements
The software is for Windows and macOS (10.15 or later, on Apple
Silicon or Intel). The macOS installer is not signed with an Apple Developer ID, so the first time
you open it macOS asks you to approve it in System Settings; the product page shows how. Plugin
formats and requirements are listed on the product page. Please check that your setup is supported before buying, since incompatibility with a
system that was never listed as supported is not by itself a fault in the software.
6. Updates
Updates within the same major version are free. A future major version may be a separate paid
product. We are not obliged to provide updates indefinitely.
7. Warranty and liability
The software is provided as is. We do not promise it is free of defects or that it will be
uninterrupted.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for
fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a
consumer are not affected. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim is limited to
the amount you paid for the licence.
Please keep backups of your work. We are not liable for lost projects, recordings or data.
8. Ending the licence
We may revoke a licence that has been refunded, charged back, or shared in breach of these terms.
Otherwise your licence continues indefinitely.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the day you buy, and
changes do not apply retrospectively to a licence you already own.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts
of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local
courts.
Refund Policy
Short version: if the software does not work for you, email
support@mvtti.dev within 14 days and you will get your money back.
1. Your 14-day right to cancel
As a UK or EU consumer buying online you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase. For digital
downloads there is an exception: that right ends once the download begins, if you
agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged losing the right to cancel. You are asked to confirm
exactly that at checkout.
We offer refunds anyway. For 14 days after purchase we will refund you on request,
whether or not you have downloaded or installed the software. You do not have to give a reason.
2. After 14 days
We will still consider a refund, particularly where the software has a fault we cannot fix in
reasonable time. Just ask.
3. How to request one
Email support@mvtti.dev from the address you bought with, or include your
order number. That is the whole process — there is no form.
4. How refunds are paid
Refunds are issued by Polar, our merchant of record, to the original payment method. Polar aims to
process them promptly; how quickly the money appears then depends on your bank or card issuer, and is
outside our control.
5. What happens to your licence
A refunded licence key is revoked. The software stops working on your computers within 30 days at
the latest, and usually much sooner. Please uninstall it.
6. Faulty software
If the software is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you have statutory rights under
the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a repair, replacement or refund. This policy is in addition to those
rights and does not replace them.
7. What is not refundable
We may decline a refund where a licence has been shared publicly or the licensing system has been
tampered with. We do not refund because a computer does not meet the system requirements published on
the product page — please check them first.
Privacy Policy
We keep as little as possible. There is no analytics on this site and nothing is
sold. The one thing that can track a visit is the Meta Pixel, which measures our adverts, and it stays
off unless you allow it.

2. Visiting this website
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics unless you allow the Meta Pixel
— see Cookies and the Meta Pixel. It is served by Cloudflare, who process
request data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attack.
We count how many times each of the short social links is clicked. That is a single number per link
— no IP address, no identifier, nothing tied to a person.
Until you allow the Meta Pixel, nothing on this site is loaded from a third party.
There is no checkout script and no embedded player: the buy button opens Polar in a new tab, and the music is served from here. Polar
receives your request only once you choose to go there, and applies its own privacy policy from that
point.
3. Cookies and the Meta Pixel
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and use the Meta Pixel to find out whether
those adverts lead to visits and sales. It is off until you choose. On your first visit a small panel
asks, and nothing is loaded from Meta and no cookie is set unless you choose allow.
If you allow it:
- your browser loads a script from Meta (connect.facebook.net);
- it sets a cookie called _fbp, plus _fbc if
you arrived by clicking one of our adverts. Each lasts up to 90 days;
- Meta receives which pages of this site you view, when you press a buy button, your IP address and
your browser details.
Meta may connect this to a Facebook or Instagram account if you have one, and uses it under its own
privacy
policy. For collecting and sending this data, we and Meta Platforms Ireland
Limited are joint controllers; what Meta does with it afterwards is Meta's responsibility.
Your answer is remembered in your browser's local storage so you are not asked again. That record
holds only the answer.
You can change your mind at any time with the cookies link at the foot of every
page. Choosing no thanks after allowing deletes the two cookies above.
4. Buying software
Checkout is handled by Polar Software Inc. as merchant of record. Your name,
payment details and billing address are given to Polar, not to us. We never see or store your
card details.
From an order, we receive and store:
- your email address;
- your licence key, stored only as an irreversible hash;
- the order reference.
We keep these to prove a licence is genuine, to support you, and to meet our tax record-keeping
duties.
Only if you allowed the Meta Pixel before buying, the buy button also passes the
pixel's two cookie values and your browser details to Polar, so they come back to us with the order.
Our licence server then tells Meta a purchase happened: the order reference, product, value and
currency, those cookie values and browser details, and your email address and country in hashed form
(put through a one-way function, so the address itself is not sent). Meta uses this to count which
adverts led to a sale. If you did not allow the pixel, nothing about your order is sent to Meta.
5. Using the software
When the software activates or renews a licence, it sends us:
- your licence key;
- an anonymous machine identifier — a one-way hash derived from your hardware,
which cannot be reversed to identify your computer or you;
- the software version.
We store these, with the date, so that the two-computer limit can be enforced and so you can see and
reset your own activations.
The software contains no analytics or telemetry. It does not report what you do
with it, what projects you open, or what audio you process. Nothing you make ever leaves your
computer.
6. Emailing us
Email sent to support@mvtti.dev is handled by our mail provider and
forwarded to a personal mailbox so it can be answered. We keep correspondence only as long as needed
to deal with the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards.
7. Marketing
There is currently no mailing list. If one is introduced it will be opt-in, and every message will
carry a one-click unsubscribe link. You will never be added to it just for buying something.
8. Who else processes your data
- Polar Software Inc. — checkout, payment, invoicing, licence delivery.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and downloads.
- Railway — hosting for the licence server and its database.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — measuring our adverts, only if you allow the
Meta Pixel.
- Purelymail and Google — email for the support address.
These providers act on our instructions. Some are outside the UK, in which case transfers rely on the
safeguards their own terms provide.
9. How long we keep it
Licence records are kept for as long as the licence exists, since a perpetual licence has to stay
verifiable. Records that relate to a purchase are kept for six years to satisfy UK tax rules.
Activation logs are kept while the licence is active.
10. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to
how it is used, or ask for it to be given to you in a portable form. Email
support@mvtti.dev and we will respond within one month.
Deleting your licence record will stop the software working, so we will confirm that with you before
doing it.
If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner's
Office at ico.org.uk.
11. Children
This software is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 13.
12. Changes
Any change to this policy will be published here with a new date at the top of the page.
